Scarcity vs Abundance

Seth Godin recently reminded me of a critical mindset, Abundance vs scarcity.
Scarcity
The need to fit into to a new situation
The pressure to conform
To become a member of the team
Feeling overwhelmed and failing
Living in fear
Not confident to be ourselves
Like Mondays after a relaxed and fulfilling weekend and finding ourselves in maximum Anxiety, or Monday Morning peak Avoidance, feeling crippled.
Abundance
To move from being out-of-control to in control of ourselves
To unwind and relax, managing our state.
Feeling gratitude and energy
Opening our minds to the possibility and staying out of judgement
Get clear and stay clear on purpose and priorities,
Feel satisfaction in our progress and contribution.
Feeling like we have clarity and peace, assisting those around us, but not surrendering our schedule. Making time for what matters. Smiling and complimenting meaningfully.
